Tree Farm - Ridgeline Dr.
Tree Farm is one of the newer communities in Bend and is comprised of 2 acre lots, which provides good separation between homes and feels even more open due to the abundance of open community space adjacent to most lots. This is the third home Spencer Williams has designed in there and we’re all very excited to break ground on another fun project. This home is sited towards the western corner of the lot to take full advantage of a Mt. Jefferson view corridor through massive ponderosa pine trees that are growing on neighboring lots. All of the public indoor spaces in this open floor plan as well as a large covered outdoor living space will have that unobstructed view. In addition to the covered outdoor space on the back of the home, an East facing Entry Courtyard will a warm space to spend time earlier in the day or a cool space as the sun progresses later in the day. Upper floor decks on both sides of the home will provide great views and more options for comfortably spending time in the great outdoors. The multi-pitch roofs in the Great Room and outdoor covered public spaces in the home are supported by long-span glulam scissor trusses, expressing the structure in a beautiful way. The homeowners, who will be moving to Central Oregon from the Willamette Valley, love the outdoors and will have an everyday Car Garage as well as a Toy Garage to house mountain bikes, ski gear, kayaks, and a ski boat. The Toy Garage is accessed directly from the Master Bath to accommodate coming home dirty and heading straight to the shower without tracking mud or snow through the house prior to getting cleaned up. Kristy Yozamp is working with the homeowners to make sure all of their selections come together to create a finished product that makes sense and meets the needs and style of our clients. The timing is great, breaking ground in March of 2020.
