In Design Awbrey Butte - Starview

Situated on a down-sloping lot on Awbrey Butte, this mountain modern home takes full advantage of the big Cascade views over the tops of massive Ponderosa Pine trees. The home features wide flange steel columns and beams, supporting custom built glulams, below a SIPs roof in the Great Room. Spencer designed the home for a family with young children, so equally sized bedrooms with a shared bath was important. The stairs accessing the lower floor, which houses two kids' bedrooms, a guest suite, and a Family Room, wrap around a central stone block that houses two linear fireplaces and TVs. We plan on breaking ground in the Spring of 2019 and showcasing the home on the 2020 COBA Tour of Homes. We hope to see you there.
