Awbrey Butte - Metke

This home sits near the end of a quiet street on Awbrey Butte looking west at the Cascades over the homes and trees below. Building in such a beautiful environment necessitates a lot of outdoor living spaces to take full advantage. With the varying weather in Bend, we feel that it is important to not only have a lot of outdoor living spaces, but to also have a variety. This home features an East facing walled courtyard with a water feature to take advantage of early morning sunshine or to escape the later afternoon heat. It also features a mixture of uncovered and covered decks, one of which houses a 4-seasons Outdoor Kitchen with natural gas heaters. Inside, the home has 10' ceilings on both levels with high windows and a variety of barrel vaults and arches creating memorable spaces. We plan on breaking ground in the Spring of 2019 and showcasing the home on the 2020 COBA Tour of Homes. We hope to see you there.
