We are very happy to be working on another project in North Rim. Steve Van Sant designed this home for an active couple who are looking forward to having a home in Bend and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities it has to offer. An entry bridge crosses over a water feature and passes a waterfall on the way to the barrel-vaulted glass and mahogany entry. Most of the main floor is vaulted with tongue and groove ceilings running between structural glulam beams and extending out into the deep overhangs, protecting outdoor living spaces. The exterior siding is a mixture of stone, clear cedar ship lap siding, and stucco with a standing seam metal roof that wraps over the top fascia, creating a very clean look. The interior is also going to be very clean with ribbon sapele, granite and glass. Kristy Yozamp loves their taste and is coming up with some great options for the interior.
