Steve Van Sant worked with a fun, retired Arizona couple who both love to play golf and make the most of living right on the challenging course at Tetherow. The home has views of numerous holes as well as the Cascades and takes full advantage with a large paver patio with a covered outdoor kitchen, a gas fire pit, and a hot tub in the rear and a great deck off of the Game Room on the front of the home above the Garage, which is also where the pool table, TV, and wet bar are located. The home has Guest Suites on both levels to accommodate a variety of guests. The Kitchen is centrally located with the Nook, Great Room, and Dining Room all arrayed around it, allowing someone in the Kitchen to stay connected with others in the house. Not one person going through the home during the tour didn’t comment on or ask a question about the beautiful compressed Brazilian mud granite countertops in the kitchen and dining room that Kristy Yozamp helped them track down. The Study and Master Suite occupy the other end of the home. The Master features his and hers closets, a jetted tub, radius glass block shower, and direct access to the hot tub. This home won “Best Value” in the COBA Tour of Homes in 2010.
